Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are chewy and moist.  I like to do all sorts of variations including a “summer” one.

Try these variations:

  • Creamsicle: Omit semi-sweet chocolate chips and replace with white chocolate chips and add 1 Tb orange zest. 
  • Black and whites: Add 3/4 cup dark chocolate and 3/4 cup white chocolate chips.
  • Peanut Butter:  Add 3/4 cup semi-sweet and 3/4 cup peanut butter chips.
  • Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies:  Dissolve 1/2 -1 tsp espresso powder to melted butter and sugar.
